I love sports, I've loved the Lakers since birth (did we mention he’s a Lakers fan?) and have played and watched all types of sports throughout my life. My love of sports has allowed me the opportunity to be a high school and college basketball referee and a high school football referee. There is nothing better than running the court or field on a Friday night game between rival teams.

Stepping into the KC Kansas Angels team as Treasurer was a natural transition - by day I’m an accountant in the agriculture industry – “an actual bean counter”. Becoming a part of the Angels team has been an eye opening and learning experience. I honestly never dreamed I would be here, however learning more about kids in care and the trauma many of them have experienced in their young lives has helped me have a much greater appreciation of my own upbringing and my amazing parents and family.

I know we can make the difference in the lives of the kids in care in Kansas.
