Dislikes: Folding socks, cold weather, closed mindedness, messy spaces.

Alicia was raised in western Kansas, on a small family farm. Living in a small town in the Midwest she experienced community, belonging and loyalty that provided memories that will last a lifetime.  While growing up she enjoyed participating in team sports, especially basketball. She is grateful for her upbringing that has taught her the value of hospitality and hard work. Alicia and her husband, Clayton have been married for over 15 years. During those years they have lived in 3 different states including; Kansas, South Carolina and Colorado. Family is everything to Alicia and she enjoys raising her 3 kids and foster children alongside her husband. You won't find Alicia sitting still, she loves being active and busy. Whether it be attending her children's activities, community events or doing house projects she is always on the move.

 Alicia is excited to step into the role as a case manager, to serve foster families, and provide a community experience. As a foster parent herself she has experienced the brokenness, heartache and loneliness that often accompanies the foster care system. Those experiences have given her compassion and empathy for those experiencing foster care, for both the bio family and foster family.   Alicia’s hope is that by aligning her purpose, God's promises, and the KC Kansas Angels mission, the foster care community will experience redemption that echoes through generations to come. Alicia is honored to be a Case Manager and excited for the opportunity to serve the Kansas City community in this capacity. ​
